Subsistence Day 3

Today on Subsistence I tried to make a basic house/base. I found a lot of different bags and boxes with supplies in them. I made a fire to survive the night and made a wood platform for my house. Just after I made the stairs A wolf came up behind me and killed me. After that I spent 25 minutes looking for my base. If you create a base command unit it shows where your house is from any point in the map. Once you have that if you die it doesn't matter you can find your base. Hopefully tomorrow gets better and I am successful at making a base.

Subsistence Day 2

Today on Subsistence I got to play it for the first time. Its was a very fun game to play with strategy. I got into the game and found 5 or 6 boxs and bags containing bullets, metal, water, and other essentials. I noticed that there were a lot of bears and wolves everywhere you look. It would be nice to see other animals in the future as the game progresses. Wolves are hard to kill but manageable with the basic pistol. For me I killed 2 wolves and it took 7 bullets each. The first night I didnt have enough nails to build anything so I tried to make a fire and in the process of that I bear killed me. Headphones are much needed for this game in order to hear bears and other animals warning you to go away. To get a full opinion of the game I think I need to play it more than 45 minutes but so far it is a lot of fun and I cant wait to see the full game in the future

What are a persons basic needs?

Q1: What are a persons basic needs?

A1: Food, water, warmth, weapons, and shelter.

Q2: What is the definition of the title?

A2: The definition of "Subsistance" is the action or fact of maintaining or supporting oneself at a minimum level.

FRIDAY POST

What did I do this week...

This week in info tech we learned coding
I have done the following projects
  • Simple Snowman
  • Waving Snowman
  • Sunny Snow Day
What I learned this week...

Chrome Capture is an extension for Google Chrome. It captures pictures, videos and GIF. It adds a camera to the tops of the page that you can click and it gives you are bunch of options to choose from.

When I first heard that we were doing coding I was not looking forward to it but it is actually pretty fun. Its not that hard of a concept to grasp onto but it can open up a lot of doors

What I did this week...
This week in info tech I remade the viral video Scott Sterling in Pivot. Scott Sterling is a video where a goalie gets hit in the face many times during a soccer shoot out. Its very funny. Pivot was fun many years ago and now it still is but takes a lot of time and patience. The game itself is fun and you should go check it out.     http://pivotanimator.net/

What I learned...
I did'nt learn much this week although I learned a few new commands. I recommend checking these out before using Pivot they are very useful
